1,Getting your dog accustomed to the dog nail grinder sound. Turn on the grinder and accustom your dog to the sound and smell, to avoid scaring dogs at the first time of use.	2,Trim the long nail by using the coarsest grinder. When the dog is ready, select the appropriate port on the guard. Slowly put the grinder on the nail tip at an angle of 45°. If it’s the first time to use the machine, please start from the low speed.	3, Give her/him small treats every single time as an award. The best choice is his/her favorite treat. Please do award during the session and at the end to let dog associate nail grinding with a pleasant award.	4, Smooth sharp edges by applying the smooth grinder and clean the grinding wheel.
